Temporary Project Accountant

WWF-Vietnam is seeking for a qualified candidate for the position Temporary Project Accountant.

The Temp Project Accountant (TPA) supports Senior Finance Officer (SFO) in Hue field office to manage and account for day to day cash inflows and outflows ensuring proper systems and procedures are being followed and smooth operating and achievement of accounting tasks in an efficient, effective, and accountable manner as well as assisting the Central Annamites Field Office with accounting and finance issues

Base location:  Hue, Vietnam

Key requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting, Business Administration, Business Management or in relevant fields.
• Good knowledge of financial and accounting reporting systems, standards and practices
• Basic knowledge of international finance and accounting standards is an advantage
• Thorough understanding of local finance and accounting systems, laws and  regulations
• Good understanding practices of finance and accounting in non-profit organisations in Vietnam
• Minimum of 3 years working experienced as a finance officer, accountant with strong accounting skills and administration management, 1 year of which should be in international organisation
• Experience in implementing and monitoring the compliance of finance and accounting system, policies and procedures.
• Experience of working in multi-cultural environment is an advantage
• Good interpersonal skills
• Planning, time management and coordination, problem solving
• Organisational awareness and service orientation
• Good verbal and written communication skills a must
• Fluency in written and spoken English and local language
• Confidentiality, Teamwork and virtual support
• Proficiency in MS Office and in accounting software (eg. ACCPAC)
• Working under pressure, towards tight deadline and with minimum supervision
• Detail focus, disciplined & Full of integrity
