PATH seeks a Temporary Program Assistant, based in Hanoi to provide administrative, programmatic and logistic support to implementation of the Vaccine and Immunization Program. Key responsibilities and duties include:

  • Support program teams in monitoring project activities.
  • Assist with the preparation and monitoring of project budgets, in collaboration with project manager and Project Administrator.
  • Carry out general and basic technical interpretation and translation of project documents and materials; review, format documents and presentations.
  • Organize, assemble, and distribute reports, communication and advocacy materials, and other documents.
  • Provide logistic support and liaise with partners to arrange meetings, workshops, field trips, and other travel.
  • Manage the project filing system.
  • Assist with ordering equipment and supplies for project sites.
  • Take notes at meetings and workshops and prepare/distribute timely minutes.
  • Assist with the development, coordination, and monitoring of sub-agreements, consultant agreements, work orders and other contracts.
  • Provide administrative support for securing all necessary in-country approvals.
  • Coordinate with admin team to arrange travels for project staff, consultants and visitors.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager, Director/Deputy director, Vaccine and Immunization Program, and Country Program Leader.

Required Skills

  • Good skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Sound written and spoken Vietnamese and English.
  • Willingness and ability to travel within Vietnam up to 25 percent per year.
