Technical Advisor – Information Management, Planning & Reporting

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) invites applications for the position of Technical Advisor – Information Management, Planning & Reporting for the Korea-Vietnam Mine Action Project (KV-MAP).

Reporting to and under the direct supervision of the Chief Technical Advisor, and in close collaboration with Vietnamese Project Director, JPMU, the TA IM will support the VNMAC Standing Deputy General Director in improving the management and use of landmines and UXO data/information by working closely with the dedicated unit within VNMAC in Hanoi, as well as the relevant component managers and dedicated teams in charge of landmine and UXO data/information in the two target provinces.

Candidates should have Advanced University Degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent) with GIS/Remote Sensing Background, at least five years of relevant field-based experience with progressive responsibilities, extensive knowledge of and experience working on UXO/mine action issues. At least IMSMA A1 certification would be required, incl. extensive experience working with IMSMA. Demonstrated experience in providing training on IMSMA is a strong asset.
