Specialists for Anticipated five-year USAID Trade Facilitation Activity Project

Chemonics International seeks candidates for the anticipated five-year USAID Trade Facilitation Activity. This project is expected to build government capacity at the national and regional levels to implement commitments under bilateral and multilateral trade agreements. The project will also strengthen private sector awareness of trade reforms, support public-private dialogue, and provide capacity building to local businesses to understand and implement the measures set forth in the trade agreements. The project is anticipated to be based in Hanoi. We are looking for candidates who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. We seek specialists for the following technical areas:

  • Trade facilitation
  • Trade law
  • Customs modernization
  • Regulatory reform
  • Women’s economic empowerment
  • Political economy analysis
  • Monitoring and evaluation
  • Communications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in trade facilitation, trade reform, trade law, customs modernization, or similar subjects
  • Interest in working with a multicultural, international team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Fluency in English required and excellent written and oral communication skills
