Senior Technical Advisor (STA)

The project “Decentralized trade support services for strengthening the international competitiveness of Vietnamese SMEs” sponsored by the government of Switzerland and implemented by Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (VIETRADE) is seeking position as Senior Technical Adviser (STA - 1 Person, International), who will work on a full time yearly basis during the Programme main phase (2014-2017).

The STA’s functions will be to provide continuous technical expertise/support to the PMU for timely and effective implementation of the Programme activities.

Requirements:

• Advanced University degree in international business, trade promotion or similar subject;
• A minimum of 15 years of practical operational experience in trade promotion and export development at institutional and enterprise levels, with special consideration towards SMEs;
• Preference will be given to candidates with solid experience of trade promotion in developing countries, with good inter-personal communication skill in cross-cultures; and with excellent written and spoken English.
