The Australian Red Cross is a non-profit, volunteer-led, humanitarian organization seeking to promote safer, healthier and more sustainable lives for people in Vietnam. Australian Red Cross in Vietnam is seeking a Vietnamese national for the role of Senior Program Officer for the Water, Sanitation and Branch Development project. This project is implemented by a consortium between the Australian Red Cross, Vietnam Red Cross and German Red Cross in four communes in Lang Son and Cao Bang provinces. It aims to improve communities’ hygiene and sanitation practices, ensure the provision of clean water, and build staff skills to support communities.  The position is responsible for managing project monitoring and evaluation and ensuring that the project is implemented according to Australian Red Cross quality standards. The role is also responsible for ensuring inclusion of girls and women in the project, and acts as the gender focal point for Australian Red Cross in Vietnam.
