1. The Prevent and Reduce Child Labour in Viet Nam Project of the ILO CO-Hanoi is requesting proposals for a survey on Knowledge, Attitude and  Practices (KAP) on child labour

ENHANCE Project will direct technical support to enhance government efforts to counter child labour, in partnership with MOLISA as the key Government of Viet Nam partner, and its Bureau of Child Protection and Care as implementing focal point and ILO as the executing agency, building the achievements to date and making particular effort to address the informal sector and identified priority industry sectors. The Project’s overall development objective is to build a comprehensive and efficient multi-stakeholder response for the prevention and reduction of child labour in Viet Nam.

To develop the awareness raising strategies and campaigns, a baseline knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) survey concerning child labour will be conducted at the beginning of project implementation and repeated by the end of the project to measure the changes in the knowledge, attitudes and practices of the project target groups as the result of project interventions.

The ENHANCE project is seeking for a research institution or group of consultants to conduct the baseline KAP survey. The KAP survey aims to measure the level of knowledge, attitude and practices concerning child labour of key stakeholders at different levels including (a) national and provincial government ministry staff; (b) local authorities at district and commune levels; workers and employers’ organizations, social and mass organizations (youth union, farmers associations, women’s union); and (c) communities including parents, school teachers and children.
