The DRR Project Officer is a member of DRR&ER team and primarily responsible for the implementation of the Emergency Project in Quang Binh and Thua Thien Hue provinces. She/he will assist to ensure that project implementation is consistent with SCI and Members’ programming principles and approaches, draw on good practices and lessons learned, enable children to attain their rights and are compliant with donor regulations.

Sustainable Health Development Center – VietHealth (www.VietHealth.org.vn) is a Vietnamese NGO registered under the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Association (VUSTA). The center has been providing humanitarian and development assistance programs with a focus placed on health and community health. On-going projects include technical assistance to local partners in development and implementation of programs related to children with disabilities, mental health, reproductive health care, water and sanitation, and life skills training. We also provide rehabilitation services; delivery of assistive devices for people with disabilities as well as small rural development projects and relief assistance.

The International Center (formerly known as Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation -VVAF) is a humanitarian organization that has addressed the consequences of war through advocacy and service programs in Vietnam for the last three decades. As a cofounder of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines, IC-VVAF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997. Now the International Center (IC) focuses on disability support, landmine removal, and mental health programs.
