Project Coordinator/Officer

Association for Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (AEPD) is a local non-profit organization in Quang Binh provice, formerly Survivor Corps/Landmine Survivors Network (SC/LSN). AEPD’s work is aimed at improving the quality of life of people with disabilies (PWDs) through economic and social empowerment towards an inclusive, barrier-free society where PWDs can fulfill their potential, enjoy equal opportunities and contribute productively to their comunities.

We are currently seeking a qualified and motivated person, Vietnamese nationality, to work in our office in Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh Province in the full-time position of Project Coordinator/Officer. Contract duration is in 1 year (can be renewable).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Directly implement or support to implement all project activities assigned by Project Management Unit (PMU) as scheduled to assure goals and strategies of the project as well as AEPD’s;
  • Make monitoring and evaluating plans and report all on-going project activities (in English and Vietnamese);
  • Cooperate with project partners to conduct and monitor project activities at locality;
  • Support and raise capacity to oureach workers in relation to managed fields during project implementation;
  • Participate in field visits to check project progress, deal with araising issues and report timely all relating issues to PMU;
  • Be responsible for translating and interpreting project documents or as required;
  • Promote partnership between AEPD and local partners to assure project activities effective implemented;
  • Organize or cooperate to organize project events;
  • Promote AEPD's image, value and activities to local community and relevant parties.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Qualifcation: University/Post-graduate degree in social sciences, development studies, economics, management, or relevant fields;
  • Fluency in English (listening, reading, speaking and writing);
  • Computer literate and effective abilities in Word, PowerPoint, Excel;
  • A minimum of 5 - years experience in development sector, preferably in international NGO;
  • Experience in planning, organizing, monitoring and reporting skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure,personal work or team work;
  • Highl cooperation and commitment.
