Project Administrator (6 months employment contract)

SNV Vietnam is looking for a Project Administrator, based in Hanoi with some travels to other provinces (06 (six) months employment contract for maternity cover).

SNV Vietnam is seeking highly qualified national candidate for the position of Administrator to join the team.

Responsibilities

Project Administrator (50%)

  • Carry out debtor, creditor and payroll administration of the projects;
  • Analyses financial data of the projects;
  • Check numerical correctness and completeness of financial administrations and booking documents of projects;
  • Prepare budget control reports and draft parts of financial annual account of the projects for the donors;
  • Provide financial data for project budgets and multi annual estimates. Identify bottlenecks and address to the supervisor;
  • Document and archive relevant project documents. All information should be in line with project documents and other requirements of donors;
  • Regular consolidate data from the project administration into reports and overviews and prepare management information to Finance Officer;
  • Provide information and advice to colleagues on the project financial administration;
  • Working with social insurance department and handle all issues related to insurance.

Bookkeeper (50%)

  • Record financial transactions in country ledger system and Maintain finance archive system;
  • Prepare payments for suppliers, consultants, staff of SNV Vietnam and also of the region unit in Hanoi;
  • Reconcile bank balances and manage liquidity levels of the country based on guidelines and financial procedures;
  • Coordinate activities and distribute work over the cashier;
  • Prepares documents for audit purpose.

Candidate profile

  • Vietnamese citizen;
  • University degree (finance, accounting or social science);
  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in financial management and contracting at international private or development organizations;
  • Specialized in project administration set up and execution;
  • Good organizing skills and good team spirit and enthusiasm;
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills (English and Vietnamese);
  • Good computer skills in MS-applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Email, Power Points).

Supervision:
The administrator will be coached and supervised by Financial Officer of SNV Vietnam.

Contract Duration:
06 (six) months employment contract without extension, from 1st April 2016 to 30th September.
