Programme/Administrative Assistant

The UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID) Vietnam is part of the British Embassy in Hanoi.  DFID has an annual development programme in Vietnam of £50 million. We are working closely with Government of Vietnam and other Development partners to eradicate poverty. The DFID Vietnam team is small but dedicated (currently five expatriate and 18 locally engaged staff). 

DFID Vietnam is looking to appoint a Programme/Administrative Assistant on a six month contract.  A job description outlining the full scope, duties and required skills is available on request. 

The Key Duties of this post will include:
Supporting DFID Programme implementation including collecting data, updating project information, drafting letters, performing interpretation/translation services and other tasks as required 
Carrying out administrative and logistics support tasks such as arranging meetings, booking hotels/cars, scanning, filing and other support tasks.

The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of one year working experience, preferably in an international organisation
- Excellent written and spoken English and Vietnamese
- Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills
- Project working experience would be an advantage.

The salary is US$845 gross per month. Medical package will also be provided.
