National Coordinator - Vietnamese Graduates from Australia Club

•     Full time 12 month contract with the potential for extension
•     Based in Ho Chi Minh City

The Program

The Vietnamese Graduates from Australia Club (VGAC) is a non-profit organisation with a strong network of Vietnamese alumni from Australian educational institutions in Australia and in Vietnam; and Australian graduates who are working and living in Vietnam. Currently VGAC has over 6,000 members in five chapters: Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Hue, Da Nang, and Can Tho.

The Position

The National Coordinator will propose and manage a program of activities for VGAC members (such as seminars, networking events, etc.) as approved by the VGAC’s Board. The Coordinator will promote VGAC, pro-actively seek sponsorships, provide support for the five VGAC Chapters in their activities and be responsible for all VGAC administrative activities. The Coordinator will also need to liaise with the Australian Embassy and the Consulate General on education promotional activities.

The Person

Are you passionate about networking, promotions and coordinating events?

The ideal candidate will be tertiary qualified and will demonstrate experience in planning and coordinating activities, preferably in relation to large social events, training or workshops, as well as strong office administration and database management skills. Experience and enthusiasm in driving networking activities will be required for success and previous roles involving marketing and promotions will be highly regarded. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
