Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI) is one of Vietnam’s leading consultancy, education and research organizations. At present, AMDI is implementing various bilaterally and multilaterally funded projects. We are looking for an energetic, talented candidate to fill the position of KINDERGARTEN PROFESSIONAL DIRECTOR for our current and upcoming kindergarten system.

The Professional Director will report directly to the Management Board and the General Director.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

• Research, develop and evaluate advanced international educational programs which are currently applied in kindergartens;
• Work with international education organisations to learn about advanced early childhood educational programs;
• Take lead role in new school development, design and planning;
• Set up education environment to the standards of selected education program;
• Develop teacher standards in compliance with the education program;
• Develop training needs assessment and capacity building plan for teachers;
• Provide training and professional development for kindergarten teachers;
• Oversee the curriculums;
• Supervise activities of the kindergartens to ensure that the selected education program is properly implemented;
• Ensure staff and facilities are in compliance with the regulations and education programs;
• Provide support and guidance to teachers at the kindergartens in relation to education program;
• Proof-read and edit new translated materials and books;
• Other tasks required by the Management Board and the General Director.

Required education, skills and qualities

• Bachelor degree in related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in childcare/education or related field;
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills;
• Good command of English;
