Interpreter /Translator
The European Union Health Facility (EUHF) has been established by the European Union in March 2015 as a part of the actions agreed with the Government of Vietnam within the framework of the EU Health Sector Policy Support Programme phase 2 (EU- HSPSP 2): Towards Equity and Quality of Health Services in Vietnam. EUHF is currently looking for the candidates to fill the position of the Interpreter /Translator
Duration of the assignment is from August 1, 2016 till March 1, 2018 (full time employment).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide written translation from Vietnamese to English and vice versa of project materials, laws, regulations and manuals
- Provide oral translation for meetings, workshops, trainings and other events as arranged
- Assist the technical assistance team with preparation/finalization of reports
- Draft the minutes of meeting
- Act as coordinator in contacts with local counterparts, upon the request.
Qualifications:
- A master/bachelor degree in linguistic (English language and literature)
- Fluent in spoken and written English and Vietnamese.
- At least 5 years of experience in providing translation/interpretation services to international companies and/or development partners.
- Experience in working with EU funded projects, preferably in health and social sector.
All candidates must be computer literate (in spread-sheets and word processing, eg Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint). Deadline for submission of the CVs is 15 July, 2016.
