Information Communications Technology Officer (ICT Officer)

Pathfinder International Vietnam is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Information Communications Technology Officer (ICT Officer).
The position of ICT Officer requires supporting the mobile health (m-Health); e-health projects and general computer/network to Pathfinder’s field office in Viet Nam.     

The ICT Officer guides and advises on the technical aspects of mHealth and eHealth projects. S/he coordinates technical inputs to government and NGO partners and ensures successful implementation of the technical aspects of their programs. S/he coordinates with other Pathfinder programs around the world as well as with Boston staff to ensure the Pathfinder Vietnam office staff are aware of all latest developments.  S/he provides input to new proposal development and ensures close and respectful partnerships with government and NGO partners.

The ICT Officer periodically installs server equipment including replacing hot swappable drives, power supplies, memory, etc.; and works with local personnel to support the backup/ restore process and maintains connectivity to the ISP. The ICT Officer maintains the current infrastructure to avoid any disruption to email flow and user downtime. S/he works with Pathfinder International (Boston) technical personnel as soon as possible to resolve any major problems or system failures. S/he provides technical supports to program staff on overseeing the software development or IT related issues in their programs.

Job Requirements: 
1. Relevant university degree and /or working experience
2. Fluent in oral and written English
3. Experience working with INGO/LNGOs and government agencies preferred
4. Understanding of mass text messaging and interactive voice response programs and system and the technical possibilities offered by today’s mobile phone networks required
5. Experience working as network administrator required
6. Familiarity with
