Human Resource Manager

MAG is an international humanitarian non-governmental organization clearing remnants of conflicts in current and former conflict zones. Present in Vietnam since 1999, MAG has been working to maximize community safety and help those most-at risk reduce their chance of being in a UXO accident.

We are seeking a fully qualified Human Resource Manager (HR Manager) to join our HR team, which strategic input and overview of Human Resource function of the MAG Vietnam programme.

Major functions: The HR Manager has the principal responsibility to ensure that MAG is an effective, responsible and compliant employer with Vietnam. The HR Manager is a member of the Senior Management Team (SMT) and shall provide advice and guidance to the programme SMT on a range of operational and strategic HR issues.

Key requirements for the position include:

  • University degree in an appropriate subject (HR Manager, Lawyer).
  • Minimum 5 years of similar role.
  • Excellent English skills, IT skills.
  • Able to work with multiple demands. Experience of working in a multicultural environment.
  • Experience of designing and implementing Administrative and HR systems and processes.
  • Experience of line managing staff.
  • Experience of designing and delivering training to colleagues.
