The Library Project donates libraries to underfinanced schools and orphanages in Asia. We believe education is the key motivator to breaking the cycle of poverty that exists in the developing world. As we see it, education is change.

Job Description

The Fundraising Manager position has two parts.

FUNDRAISING MANAGEMENT

  • Developing, updating and implementing an effective fundraising strategy
  • Designing integrated fundraising campaigns, engaging major individual donors, developing a plan to engage the corporate sector
  • Organizing events for fundraising
  • Writing grants proposals for existing sources of funding and seek out new opportunities not currently identified
  • Raising awareness in Vietnam
  • Creating and supporting a volunteer network in Vietnam
  • A bonus is available for Vietnam funds raised

PROGRAM SUPPORT

  • Donate libraries to rural elementary schools in the Mekong Delta in 2014
  • Help create a fun, exciting and enjoyable place to work.

Job Requirement

  • Must enjoy children, travel and challenges.
  • University graduate
  • 2 years work experience.
  • 2 years work experience in NGO, and fundraising
  • Must be able to work with government authorities at the city and rural levels.
  • Must be competent at Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Honest, want to be a part of a results oriented team, and enjoy helping others.
  • Good spoken and written English skills, willingness to work with an international team
