Financial Management Expert

The Asian Management and Development Institute (AMDI) is a science and technology organization with the mission of providing research, training and consulting services as a leading management science institution in Vietnam. At present, AMDI is implementing training, consulting and researching projects in the fields of organization management, tourism, trade, health facility, agriculture, disaster risk reduction and climate change.

We are looking for high-qualified candidates for the following vacancy:

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT EXPERT

Duties:

• Review the capacity of PMU’s finance unit, setting up financial management system and providing PMU staff training on JICA’s procedures of finance and disbursement management; and
• Help PMU in preparing withdrawal applications and processing other financial documents in accordance with JICA’s regulations in a timely manner.
• Assist PMU in preparation of budget estimate
• Assist PMU in establishing and implementing a management system of research budget and implement other tasks relevant to research budget management under PMU’s requests
• Assist PMU in preparation of budget estimate and disbursement in long-term and short-term trainings
• Assist PMU in performance of any of other duties to ensure that the project implemented smoothly and effectively     

Requirements:

• The Consultant is required to have at least 15 years of experience in project finance and disbursement management in similar projects and/or projects in Vietnam;
• The Consultant is required to be familiar with regulations/guidelines on finance and disbursement management in ODA projects of the Vietnam Government and JICA.
• The Consultant is required to have a good command of English language and is able to work and effectively communicate in a multi-cultural environment
