Based in Da Nang with travel to Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue province

SNV has been working in Vietnam since 1995. Using market based approaches, SNV is committed to reducing poverty by catalysing environmentally sustainable solutions for the poor in agriculture, energy, water & sanitation, and REDD+.

Under the Climate, Business and Landscapes Program, SNV Vietnam has recently been selected by ECODIT as the service provider to provide capacity building for Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue province. SNV is seeking a qualified Field Coordinator for the USAID Green Annamites project. Under guidance from the Project Manager, he/she will provide support to the Work Order(s) under ECODIT IQS contract, including but not limited to:

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Support resilient development of supply/value chains
  • Support the implementation of the Work Order(s) in liaison with the client;
  • Develop and maintain an effective coordination with key stakeholders
  • Support in logistic and administrative arrangements for all training workshops & field visits, e.g. procurement of goods, hiring venues, car, etc. in line with SNV procedures, cost norms, and donor requirements;
  • Taking minutes and photos of the training workshops and field visits;
  • Reporting to the Project Manager;

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in agro-forestry, business administration or other related fields
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant technical and field work experience in climate-smart, low emission, biodiversity conservation, and resilient development.
  • Experience working in Quang Nam and Thua Thien Hue is preferable
  • Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English, both spoken and written
  • Willingness to travel regularly to project provinces
  • Good computer skills in MS-applications
