Environmental Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Viet Nam – Industrial Pollution Management Project (VIPMP)  comprises of 3 component projects, with a development objective of improving environmental compliance of industrial zones on a pilot basis, and will operate at national level and in four project provinces, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Dong Nai, Ba Ria – Vung Tau, in the period of 2013 – 2018 with possible extension in terms of scope and time.

The project component 01 - “Institutional Strengthening and Enforcement”, is managed and implemented by Vietnam Environment Administration, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, with the support of a project management unit (called MONRE PMU).  Further information of the Project is at http://www.ise.org.vn

The MONRE PMU is seeking a qualified local consultant for a full time post of Environmental Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to work in MONRE PMU with the project team, to join the team in implementing the project component 01 - “Institutional Strengthening and Enforcement” (TOR attached).

The expected time for the successful candidate to start working is 01 November 2014. The contract is 01 year fixed term with 2 months of probation, and renewable upon qualification and performance.
