Deputy Director; Manager of Project and Bid Proposal

Micro - Finance & Community Development Institute (MACDI) is seeking to recruit 2 positions as below:

1. DEPUTY DIRECTOR

Requirements

  • Nationality: Foreign nationality or Vietnamese nationality
  • Educational Level: Master Graduated or Higher education in Economic, Auditing, Finance, Business or other related field,
  • Work Experience:
    • At least 5-10 years experiences in business development;
    • Have experiences in management position, experiences in finding grant funds from international organization such as USAID, WB, ADB…for sustainable livelihood development at banking/finance digital, health and gender, climate change, value change, SMEs support, business development
    • Well experiences of working for governance, non-governmental
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in English;
    • Strong proposal writing skills, experience in writing proposals for development with different donors
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented;
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
    • Ability to work independently as well as work in team.

Purpose

Deputy Director will work and report directly works to Director in all development of Institutes to help to achieve MACDI’s strategic objectives minimize the risks and improve operations of business.

Responsibility

With Director, Deputy Director play an important role, she/he will work closely with Director and provide executive leadership, management, delivering to sustain a growth plan via operational excellence and effective compliance:

  • Manage projects of MACDI and develop new projects and proposals
  • Develop strategic of finding sources of grants from international organizations;
  • Operational and administrative decisions with a focus on process improvement;
  • Building plan development in project, procedure which related to sustainable livelihood development, micro-finance, climate change, health and gender;
  • Give out strategies and targets for project, bidding procedure;
  • Overall strategy development incorporating financial budgets, operational, marketing and human resources;
  • Building relationships with donors, partners and maintain the relationships
  • Responsible to the Director and other related duties required by the Director.

2. MANAGER OF PROJECT AND BID PROPOSAL

Requirements

  • Educational Level: Master degree or Higher education in economics, business administration, project management, development or similar
  • Work Experience:
    • At least 5 years of experience in project coordination/management;
    • Experience in working with international organizations and government agencies;
    • Experience in procurement, managing social development projects, micro-finance and livelihoods;
    • Excellent English skills in both speaking and writing;
    • Ability to cope up with high pressure, work independently and in team.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in English;
    • Strong proposal writing skills, experience in writing proposals for development with different donors;
    • Strong problem solving skills;
    • Strong analytical skills and detailed oriented;
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills;
    • Ability to work independently as well as work in team.

Purpose

Manager of Project and Bid Proposal will work and report directly works to Director, to help to achieve MACDI’s strategic objectives minimize the risks and improve operations of business.

Responsibility

  • Bidding implementation:
    • To find the new bidding package and new proposal call
    • To set up the expert network to joint bidding with MACDI
    • To prepare the technical proposal and financial proposal based on investor’s requirement.
    • Coordinate the organization of training, workshops and conferences
    • Collecting qualitative and quantitative data from primary and secondary sources, in-depth interview, survey…
    • Process and analysis data
  • Project implementation:
    • Manage and coordinate the implementation of project activities
    • Identify, select, negotiate and contract with experts
    • Support, coordinate and monitor expert’s works
    • Develop and maintain relationship with clients, partners and experts
    • Prepare budgets for events, trainings, workshops and conferences.
    • Identify, select, negative and contract with suppliers
    • Coordinate the organization of events, trainings, workshops and conferences
    • Other tasks as assigned by director
    • Project development
    • Support searching for new business opportunities
    • Write proposals and prepare for dossier applications
    • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners and experts

Micro-finance and Community Development Institute (MACDI) is non-governmental organization of Vietnam. We are officially registered as member organization of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (VUSTA) with an operation permit from Ministry of Science, technology and Environment.
