Vacancy: CSO Project Manager – Hanoi Office

Based in Hanoi

We are looking for a Vietnamese national for the position of CSO Project Manager to work for our Northern Area Office. The successful candidate will be based in Hanoi.

Main Responsibilities: The post holder is responsible for the effective management and coordination of the project across the provinces, between the different partners and with donor in order to ensure the project’s successful implementation. The post holder will also ensure that the experience of the project is well analyzed, documented and shared with policy makers, donors and members.

Key Competencies:

  • BA, education background and experiences in social science or development (preferable of MA level)
  • At least 3- 5 years experience in  managing international development programme/projects
  • Demonstrated experience in project design, management, monitoring and evaluation
  • Demonstrated skills in financial and grants management, experience with EC funded grants is advantage
  • Working knowledge of CSOs and education policies and practice
  • Proven skills in organisational representation and advocacy
  • Experience in personnel management  
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English 
  • Ability and willingness to work overtime and under pressure if and when neccessary
  • Commitment  to  and  understanding  of  Save  the  Children’s  aims,  values  and principles  including rights-based approaches
