Consultancy Service to Develop a Documentary to Broadcast on Advanced Clean Cookstoves

SNV is seeking a highly professional team to develop a documentary to broadcast on VTV channel(s) with detailed ToR in the attached file.

Target audiences:

• Rural population that use traditional cookstoves
• Influential organisations such as Women’s Unions, Cooperatives
• Cookstove producers/distributors
• General public

Purpose:

• To disseminate a strong educational message about clean cooking through:
  
  • exposing audiences to situation of traditional cooking in Vietnam and how harmful it is to people’s health and the environment;
  • showcasing current advanced clean cookstoves and its social, economical and environmental benefits;
  • encouraging people to use advanced clean cookstoves

• To publish the documentary on VTV channels

Requirements:

• Good understanding of ACCS project through ‘desk study’ and discussions with SNV team
• Ability to write a script in Vietnamese and translated into English
• At least five years of proven experience in delivering similar service
• Highly professional film crew
• Ability to broadcast the documentary on reputable VTV channels

Shooting locations/days:

• One or two of Hanoi’s rural districts: Thach That, Quoc Oai, Phu Xuyen
• One of the three provinces: Son La, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh

Timeline:

• Contracting: September 2016
• Script + shooting: October 2016
• Post-production: November 2016
• Broadcast: December 2016

Deliverables:

• Script in Vietnamese with English translation
• 20 to 30-minute documentary with voiceover in Vietnamese and English translation
• 4k original footage
• Full HD 1920 x 1080 (high res)
• Low-res 1920x1080 for web upload
• Final products and original footage will be delivered to SNV on a hard drive
