Consultancy Service on Conducting Cost Benefit Analysis for Aquaculture ASC Certified Farms in VietNam

WWF-Vietnam is looking for Consultant to analysis for aquaculture ASC certified farms to promote responsible certification scheme in Vietnam: The business case to illustrate value of certification through case studies of ASC certified farms (TOR is attached)

OBJECTIVES

The objective of this consultancy is to have a clear understanding of costs and benefits associated with ASC certification for shrimp and Pangasius farms in Vietnam based on an independent study. This will ultimately lead to decisions as to how to promote ASC certification to farmers in Vietnam and ASC certified products in European and other markets.

CONSULTANT QUALIFICATIONS AND TEAM COMPOSITION

• All consultants, international or local are welcome to apply for this study
• The consultant should hold at least Master degree in one of following majors: economics, environmental economics, aquaculture, development or relevant majors.
• Having sound knowledge and at least 5-year experience with cost-benefit analysis, certification schemes, environmental impact assessment, socio-economics impact assessment, aquaculture.
• Having skills and experiences in assessment for methodology, familiar with the Mekong delta and understanding the local languages.
• Experience in working with private sector.
• Excellent English writing skills and team leader should be fluent in English.

• Proposed methodology, work-plan, activities, timeframe and budget included
• Profile of team members.
