The 5-year USAID-funded Health Finance and Governance project (HFG) provides technical assistance in health systems strengthening around the world. The project addresses the financing, governance, operational, and capacity-building constraints that block access to and use of priority population, health, and nutrition services by people in developing countries. 

HFG is also the implementing agency for the Sustainable Financing Initiative in Vietnam, a three year program funded by the Presidential Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), committed to support ongoing country-led efforts to further mobilize Vietnam’s resources to help deliver an AIDS-free generation.

Objective:

To support the adequate and effective implementation of technical activities, the Health Finance and Governance Project (HFG/Vietnam) seeks to hire an Administrative Officer who will be responsible for providing support Finance & Administration Manager in daily activities related to office operations in Vietnam.

The Administrative Officer (AO) will report to Finance & Administration Manager.   

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide the logistic arrangement for expatriates and local staff;
  • Coordinate with partners to arrange logistics for trainings and workshops;
  • Review local consultants’ papers and draft their Consulting Agreements;
  • Update and upload information on consultants, training/workshops, expenditures and others into project management system.
  • Other tasks required by the F&A Manager and COP.

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or related degree
  • 4+ years of experience in administrative works, preferably in international projects especially USAID-funded projects
  • Experience coordinating event logistics
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, and timely follow-up
  • Careful, attentive to details
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), knowledge of Oracle a plus
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese required.
