POST-COP 21 workshop organized by DMHCC in cooperation with CCWG

On 12th December 2015, the Paris Agreement was adopted by 195 parties at 21st United Nations Convention on Climate Change’s Conference of Parties (COP 21), which was expected to come into force from 2020 if at least 55 countries accounting for at least 55% green house gas emission globally approved and ratified. Being one of the most vulnerable countries to climate change worldwide, Vietnam need to be ready to ratify and implement the Paris Agreement properly.

With the support by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Vietnam, the Department for Meteorology, Hydrology and Climate Change (DMHCC) in cooperation with the NGO’s Climate Change Working Group (CCWG) organizes a workshop namely “POST COP 21: the Paris Agreement and its implication to Vietnam” with below detail:

-  Objective: sharing the main result of COP 21, content of Paris Agreement and its implication to Vietnam; as well as discussing the roles of non-governmental organizations in the implementation process of Paris Agreement in Vietnam.

-   Time: 08:00 – 12:00, 21st January 2016;

-   Venue: Hanoi Club, 76 Yen Phu, Tay Ho, Hanoi
