Participate in SPARK – Developing Capacity for Social Innovation
Do you have an innovative business solution to address poverty and other social issues in Vietnam? Do you wish to scale it up, but need advice on how to do this, and sustainable financing? Send your concept notes to participate in the initiative “SPARK – Developing Capacity for Social Innovation”.
The “SPARK” is an initiative co-founded by the SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, the Vietnam Centre for Community Support Development Studies (CECODES), PACT (USA) and the Centre for Sustainable Rural Development (SRD Vietnam). It aims to help build the capacities of Vietnamese organisations and individuals who wish to scale up innovative business solutions and models that have successfully addressed poverty-related issues such as employment creation, income generation, heath care, education, culture, and the environment. Applicants for SPARK support must have already implemented small-scale innovative business solutions that addressed poverty-related issues and now wish to replicate these on a larger scale.
SPARK offers:
- Tailor-made capacity building and expert advice (such as leadership, business management, technical and financial).
- Operational seed funding, mainly for capacity development needs, of up to VND 800,000,000 for upscaling.
- Linking applicants to potential service providers.
- Linking sound proposals to international social investors
