Irish Aid Project Officer - Women’s Rights Theme

ActionAid is an international development agency whose aim is to fight poverty worldwide. Founded in the United Kingdom in 1972, for over 30 years, they have been growing and expanding to where they are today - helping the poorest and most excluded people in 47 countries in Africa, Asia and the Americas in securing their rights and eradicating poverty.

In Vietnam, ActionAid operates in over 20 provinces in mountainous and remote regions, including urban areas of Ho Chi Minh City since 1989 in the fields of education, women’s rights, HIV/AIDS, governance and food rights.

ActionAid Vietnam (AAV) is seeking to recruit a well-qualified and experienced Vietnamese citizen for the following position:
   
Irish Aid Project Officer - Women’s Rights Theme, based in Hanoi office with frequent travels to the fields
Contract status: Fix term from April to 31 December 2010 (potential of extension)

Starting date: As soon as possible
