Interns/Trainees Based in Hanoi

Save the Children in Vietnam (SC) works to promote every child’s rights to survival, protection, participation and development as set forth in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.  The current programme focuses on the following core sectors: Health and Nutrition; HIV/AIDS prevention; Care and support; Education; Child protection; Child-focused emergency preparedness and response; Child rights agenda, including Civil society development, Economic opportunities, Child poverty Research, and Advocacy for child-friendly development policy and practice.

Interns/Trainees Based in Hanoi

They are now seeking for Vietnamese young graduates for the following internships:
1. Procurement Intern
2. Child Protection Intern
3. Admin intern

These positions will give young people exposure the works in an international NGO. The intern/trainee will support in administrative and logistic tasks and gain a number of essential skills and work experience that is valuable for job seeking after the internship.

Main Responsibilities
Support in day-to-day administrative, project and logistic works and communication aiming at an effective, efficient and cost-sensitive implementation and management of the office and sector’s activities

Person specification
- University degree
- Familiarity with administrative tasks
- Good communication skills to maintain contact with partners.
- Ability to work independently under minimum supervision within a team. High team working spirit.
- Ability to organize and coordinate complex activities within interrelated schedules and timelines, to demonstrate sound judgment, task orientation.
- Excellent English and Vietnamese written and oral communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
