About Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy
The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore is the leading school of public policy in Asia. Our school aims to educate and train a new generation of globally minded policymakers and leaders from the public and private sector. Our mission is to transform Asia by significantly raising the standards of governance in the region and beyond. One of the most important ways we deliver on that mission is by training skilled and enlightened leaders who can really make a difference for people and their daily lives.
Established as an autonomous graduate school in 2004, the School today has 30 full-time faculty and over 400 students from 53 countries. To date, more than 80 students from Vietnam have attended full time degree programs and another 200 people have attended short training courses.

Every year, about 10 outstanding Vietnamese receive full scholarships to study in Masters and PhD Programmes at LKY School of Public Policy.

The School is inviting qualified candidates to its two Programmes of Master in Pubic Policy (MPP) and Master in Public Administration (MPA), which commence in July 2011.

Master in Public Policy:
The MPP programme is a two-year degree for young professionals. Students learn the fundamental skills of public policy analysis from the disciplines of politics, economics, and public management. They also have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of a specific area by electing to focus their studies on one of five specializations: Development Studies; Economic Policy and Analysis; International Relations and Security Studies; Social and Environmental Policy; and Public Management and Governance.
The School also offers Dual Degree with Business School and Law School of National University of Singapore and with other prestigious schools in the world. (Columbia University, London School of Economics and Political Science, Sciences Po (Paris) and University of Tokyo)

Master in Public Administration
The MPA programme is a one-year degree for mid-career professionals with more than five years of professional experience. The MPA is designed to enhance the effectiveness of mid-career professionals from the public, private and non-profit sectors in addressing complex, multidimensional policy issues. The MPA programme places great emphasis on management and decision-making.
