Country Director

ChildFund in Vietnam is part of the ChildFund Alliance, a group of 12 child focused, development organizations working since 1938 to improve the lives of children and families around the world. ChildFund Vietnam has been supporting community development projects in Vietnam since 1995, focusing on health, education, rural livelihods, water and sanitation and child rights and protection.
They are now seeking highly qualified candidates for the position: Country Director. Based in Hanoi
In this role you will be required to lead, manage and be accountable for all aspects of ChildFund’s operations in Vietnam. Reporting to the ChildFund Australia International Program Director, and working closely with other key members of the ChildFund Australia team, you will continue to develop and expand our successful and well-regarded operations in Vietnam. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated person with substantial experience in the development sector and significant leadership ability, to build on the strong momentum on the ground and lead it to the next level of impact and scale. Relations with local and national partners are strong, and you will demonstrate the ability to continue this momentum with the relevant government authorities and through partnerships with international and local organizations.
You will have proven experience in leading staff teams and the ability to operate respectfully within a complex environment. Your contributions will be rewarded with an attractive remuneration and support package.
