Consultation meeting on National Target Program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in September, 2022

 

The national target program for socio-economic development in ethnic minority and mountainous areas in the 2021-2030 period (National Target Program for Ethnic Minority Affairs) is in the initial stage of implementation. The outline of the report of the agencies under the supervision and the outline of the report summarizing the monitoring results of the NTP has also been drafted, and the National Assembly's supreme monitoring program is expected to take place around November 2022. - March 2023.

After over a year of preparing for feasibility study report of National Target Program on Socio-Economic Development for Ethnic and Mountainous Areas (hereafter called the Program), the Government has issued Decision 1719/Q?/CP approving the NTP - Ethnic Minority Affairs period 2021 – 2025 on 14 October 2021.

Gender responsive budgeting workshop

Accelerating the implementation the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) will require strengthened accountability mechanisms for gender equality. One of the effective methods that is capable of meeting and overcoming challenges to promote gender equality is gender responsive budgeting (GRB). In some countries in the Asia Pacific region, GRB has been used effectively by civil society organizations to strengthen State accountability towards gender equality and the empowerment of women.

EMWG learning forum "Leadership role of ethnic minority women: Active or Passive?"

ADC, iSEE, and the Ethnic Minorities Working Group (EMWG) cordially invite you to the Learning Forum # 2 in 2016 with the theme: “The leadership role of ethnic minority women: Active and Passive?”. This event is a part of “the regular learning forum on development issues of ethnic minorities” - an initiative for partners, organizations and individuals interested in the development issues of ethnic minorities in Vietnam, which is under  the framework of the Civil Action for Socio-economic Inclusion Program in Northern Vietnam programe (CASI) funded by DANIDA and co-implemented by CARE, iSEE, CIRUM and ADC.
